The Jasmine flower symbolizes love, beauty and sensuality. I was also drawn to its delicate double blossoms and meandering stems which create a light and ethereal appearance. The flowers mix easily with bouquets, and have a similar appearance to orange blossoms in size and scale.

I found the creation of this branch to be meditative. The repetition of the creation of the buds, flowers and foliage calms the senses. Assembling all of the pieces is a pleasing task as the beauty of the branch slowly unfolds in your hands.

In this special online tutorial, I will be instructing you on creating a floral branch with beautiful moments throughout. You will make buds of the flowers in various stages of growth, and learn fundamental shaping techniques to create form and movement in the petals. The branch assembly is very detailed to ensure you achieve thin stems that appear to blend into one another.
