"Little Fireball" Cymbidium

Cymbidium orchids represent purity, morality and friendship. Also called 'boat orchids', the cymbidium orchid feature a unique shape to their 'lips' similar to a boat. In my search for an orchid that would feature as many teaching points as possible, I found the "Little Fireball". Unique to this flower are the deep reddish-purple coloration on its lips and striated magenta petals which make this flower pop in any arrangement. This is the first course I can say hosts quite a bit of painting, but it makes this flower come to life and I can promise you that when completed, anyone will be challenged to guess its made of paper!

Originally debuted in Iceland at a live workshop, this flower received exceptional feedback from participants, and we are excited to recreate the experience for you. The course will guide you through crafting the flower, allowing you to explore new creative horizons from the comfort of your home.

Key details about the workshop include:

  • Comprehensive, step-by-step video instruction with templates, materials list and buying resources
  • Exclusive tips and insights from artist Catherine Oxley
  • Flexible learning tailored to fit your schedule

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. We are eager to see the beautiful creations that "Little Fireball" will inspire!
